Most individuals start to feel relief within the first few sessions. We provide psychological assessment, substance abuse treatment, therapy/counseling, pre-marital and marital counseling and mental health services. Your treatment experience will be tailored specifically to your needs and goals. We’ll be a support in your life, and provide you with the coping skills you need. Our group consist of Master's level psychologist and Licensed Social worker clinicians. We provide  psychological and mental health services. We will identify your strengths, and collaborate with you to find solutions to your challenges. We offer a warm therapeutic environment for adults, children, families and groups to overcome any obstacles and obtain the lives they want.

Our clinicians have worked in hospital setting as well as various outpatient community mental health clinics. Our approach is integrative, we take an active approach with noticeable improvements. We understand the cultural diversity and sensitivity of the population residing in the southeast of Michigan. Our approach includes utilizing the Biopsychosocial Model addressing the biological, psychological and social aspect of an individual. This approach is integrative and help individuals understand the biological, psychological and social aspect of an illness and behavior.

We also provide psychological evaluations, assessment, individual, family and group therapy and relapse prevention/ substance abuse counselling.

Your First Visit

During your first visit, you and your clinician will get a chance to get to know one another. Your clinician/therapist will go over the intake forms with you to explain what  you can expect from therapy or treatment at cognitive care center, and what the sessions will look like once you start sessions. Your clinician will work with you to develop a treatment plan that works best for you and get you started on the right treatment as needed. You will have the opportunity to tell your therapist what’s bringing you in and to talk about what you hope to get out of the experience by working on developing goals so that you and your clinician can begin working collaboratively toward your goals. The team will work together to better serve you.
